MANDELA WASHINGTON FELLOWS VISIT AMAGUGU

It has been a while since they visited but we still cherish the memories. We hosted 80 Mandela Washington Fellows drawn from all corners of the country. The Mandela Washington Fellowship is the flagship of the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) program that empowers young people through academic coursework, leadership training and networking.

The Fellows, drawn from the 2014 to the 2017 cohorts, had convened in Bulawayo for an annual retreat and as part of team excursion visited Amagugu. Of particular interest was the open discussion that the fellows had with our Director Pathisa Nyathi on a range of contemporary socio-economic issues. See pictures and appreciate the vibe of the day.
